Dr. Erika Eckman, D.C.

Dr. Erika Eckman is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. Before earning the doctorate of Chiropractic degree she earned a Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Henderson State University. While in attendance she studied abroad in Panama, Belize and Guatemaula. Dr. Eckman lives in La Jolla, and enjoys staying active around the ocean and mountains.

By using a dynamic approach to each patient visit, Dr. Eckman takes into consideration the Triad of Health to assist your body towards healing. Your Mental, Chemical and Structural well-being are all important for your body to do its best in each healing cycle. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue remodeling will be done to bring balance to your body.

Active Release Technique also known as Myofascial Release is used to remove knots, adhesions, scar tissue, and to help the sliding surfaces of muscles to slide again.  Biochemistry is addressed though nutritional supplementation and the latest cutting edge lab-testing used by Functional Medicine practitioners.  Dr. Eckman also does nutritional coaching as well as detox plans.

"Our bodies, when given the right tools, environment and mechanical encouragement, know how to heal themselves. I look forward to triaging your case. I will develop a specific treatment plan that addresses the cause, not just the symptoms of your condition, and accomplish a higher level of health and quality of life for you."

  • "I went to see Dr. Eckman not really knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by how much better I felt when I left her office. She is very kind and professional and knows her stuff! She managed to release tight muscles in my neck, back and even my jaw - complaints I went in with but left there feeling so much better! I highly recommend her and will encourage family and friends with back, neck and shoulder problems to go and see her."
