By using a dynamic approach to each patient visit, Dr. Eckman takes into consideration the Triad of Health to assist your body towards healing. Your Mental, Chemical and Structural well-being are all important for your body to do its best in each healing cycle. Structural problems are tackled by addressing the Five Factors of the IVF, the hallmark of Applied Kinesiology. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue treatments will be done to bring balance to your body. Biochemistry is addressed though nutritional supplementation and the latest cutting edge lab-testing used by Functional Medicine practitioners. Neuro-emotional technique is used to pin-point subconscious mental blocks that can contribute to recurring issues throughout the body. The Toxicity of your body will be addressed by homeopathic remedies and minimizing your exposure for harmful chemicals.

"Our bodies, when given the right tools, environment and mechanical encouragement, know how to heal themselves. I look forward to triaging your case. I will develop a specific treatment plan that addresses the cause, not just the symptoms of your condition, and accomplish a higher level of health and quality of life for you."

Five Factors of the IVF (Subluxation)

Imbalances in these areas will create dysfunction and pain in your body. We find these areas of treatment through muscle testing. An inhibited muscle is not able to receive good signal from the brain to function properly due to one or all of these factors:
    1. Nerve Supply (Subluxation)
    2. Acupuncture Meridians
    3. Cerebral Spinal Fluid
    4. Neurolymphatic Reflexes
    5. Neurovascular Reflexes

Soft Tissue Treatments
When we stop moving, even laying down to sleep at night, the small spaces between our muscles become interlaced with "fuzz" that can lead to more serious adhesions, especially after an injury, and further lack of motion in our muscles i.e. "KNOTS" causing tightness, stiffness and soreness.

The soft tissue work preformed by Dr. Eckman is specific to addressing this problem, leading to more motion between your muscles and less tightness, stiffness, and pain. These types of soft tissue symptoms are resolved best when you continue with regular treatment throughout an entire healing cycle of 8 weeks.
